I'm searching for some honest opinions. I will purchase a new bike within the next few weeks and the short list is the 2020 1290 Super Adventurer R & the 2021 Multistrada V4S. I love my KTM I have now but looking to up grade and I'd say that I ride 30% off road, 70% on. The cost of the bikes will be about the same as I'd need to have the 1290 KTM 890 DUKE R – Power 121hp @ 9,250 rpm Torque 99 Nm @ 7,750 rpm Engine, gearbox and exhaust In the extremely compact LC8c parallel twin engine, the 790’s bore has been increased from 88 to 90.7 mm and the stroke lengthened from 65.7 to 68.8 mm with compression changing from 12,7:1 to 13,5:1. But here is a review from someone that has test driven the KTM 1090 Adventure. The riding position I remembered it well, and get on in 1090 was only a confirmation of the good things I had already "tasted" on 1050. Straight Bust, comfort, ergonomics but also a feeling of determination and aggression when you grab the handlebars.
