Country. 25 Mar 2012. #6. Seriously, I doubt if there is a fault with your glowplugs - once the engine is going they aren't needed anyway and certainly wouldn't cause the engine to cut. On several makes of vehicle the glow light is connected into the management system, and its telling you there's another fault elsewhere.
I recently bought a Honda civic 1.7cdti 2002 diesel car last month. I am experiencing some electrical problems with the car. At speeds over 60mph the car engine malfunction light comes on and the car experiences loss of revs and power. The maximum revs that I can reach when the engine light I have a 2015 Opel Zafira diesel (1.7 CDTI 110 CH FAP Edition), Current mileage 70,000 km and am living in France (hence using km rather than miles). The car was not driven much during 2020. Look on top of the black plastic timing belt casing on the drivers side of the engine and you'll see a plug that point forwards and up at about 45 deg.
