From what i know about these imported VZ58s is they are not entirely new, most parts are surplus.

The VZ.58 is extremely accurate for its platform with a high-quality barrel combined with a smooth trigger and a crisp break. Unfortunately, this accuracy is mitigated by the sights, which are very similar to the original 300-yard AK-47 sights. Optical accessories will significantly increase the shooter’s accuracy. I guess there are 2 importers of the vz58s. CSA makes 'em, Czechpoint imports 'em, and retailers like Dissident and Atlantic sell 'em. Czechpoint also happens to operate as a retailer and sells directly to consumers, too. Your gun from Dissident will have CSA manufacturer marks and Czechpoint import marks. You might be correct. I converted the Siaga to a pistol grip and sold it for 1k and traded the IO with cash for a ninja 650. Think i payed 400 for the siaga and 500 for the IO. When i got the vz2008 i decided the ak platform was crap and got rid of them. Local gun shop got a bunch of vz mags in but i was the only one that had one. Traded AK mags off for vz mags. Ed83.
